Advice

Hey everyone,

After graduation, I'm planning a 2 to 3 week cross country trip making a ton of architecture-related stops along the way. I'm going to start in either Boston or New York and end in San Diego. I've attached a link to my first thoughts of a route and I'm looking for feedback about where I should visit.

Plans

Any help would be great!

Matthew

  1. Well you can't pass through Arizona without coming to visit me! Even if I'm not there during the time that you'll pass through, you should at least drive through Sedona, Scottsdale, and Phoenix. There are some neat architectural sites such as the homes of Paolo Soleri and Frank Lloyd Wright.
If your interested in urban development they set up a light-rail system in Phoenix within the past year or two. It also makes it easier to see some of the bigger public buildings like the Burton Bar Public Library and the Contemporary Art Gallery in a day.

  2. The Burton Bar Library was my precedent for the Chestertown Atheneum. I should probably go see it ha.
