Hey everyone,
After graduation, I'm planning a 2 to 3 week cross country trip making a ton of architecture-related stops along the way. I'm going to start in either Boston or New York and end in San Diego. I've attached a link to my first thoughts of a route and I'm looking for feedback about where I should visit.
Plans
Any help would be great!

Ghost Lab
A couple semesters ago, one of the professors referenced Ghost Lab as a project that might be helpful for our artist studio designs. Miller Hull was one of the architecture firms collaborating on it, which rang a bell when were assigned the precedent buildings. I thought it might be good to look it up again and see what it was about. Just thought I would share it because it takes into account some of the same ideas as we are thinking about with sustainability and questioning the needs of the site.
Here's also an article about it, "Raising Architectural Spectres" from Architectural Record. Hope it's helpful.

Watercolor
If you're interested in rendering in watercolor you should look up David Walker in London and Vladislov Yeliseyev for some images. Lester Escobal suggested them to me.

AutoCAD file: Complete Site in New Context
Hey Everyone,
I've projected the Matt Bell proposal next to our site in a .dwg at 1:200 scale. I have not posted it online, however if you would like the file or a print copy, both Matt Olson and I have the file.
See you all in studio,
Nick

hey guys,
So we put up on the column that's on our studio area a list of diagrams and sections to draw. We decided we should all divide up the work. If you haven't signed up for one please stop by and do so, and then have the drawings ready for tomorrow.
Sections are at 1:50 scale.
All other drawings are 1:100 or 1:500.
